I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend. Friday was my birthday, which was great, I went estate sale shopping, had lunch with a dear friend, and packed up boxes for our big move (which was supposed to be Saturday). Long story short, we decided against moving after seeing the 'real' apartment we were supposed to move into (you know how they usually show you a sample first...) yeah, ours was NOTHING like the sample, nothing like what we had expected..it was actually pretty horrible. So luckily, our current apartment hadn't been rented yet, and we decided to stay. I am still going to paint, get new furniture, reorganize everything so it is like new! :o) Can't wait to share pictures!

Unconventional Collar

I'm a huge blouse bluff! A blouse can instantly update your wardrobe, and they are super wearable. I often take what most people think are 'work appropriate' blouses and infiltrate them into my everyday look by cuffing the sleeves, and pairing them with more relaxed pieces. Here is one of my new favorites! I love the unconventional priest collar, and the polka dot star print.

Trend Alert! Let's Go Fishing

I have been fishing around (if I must say) for an uber cool unconventional hemline lately. We all know floor grazing maxis are a current must, but what about something more unique and dramatic? Fishtails, also called 'high-low hems' are hitting the runways!
