The Tribal Dance

Dress, Belt - La Petite Marmoset; Sweater - NY&C; Shoes - UO
Tights - DKNY; Bracelets - Vintage & F21

This dress single-handedly put me in a such a good mood yesterday. I mean honestly, who can resit anything tribal print with pretty colors, intricate beading and such a fun hem line? - I know I can't! Katherine and I originally purchased this dress as an oversize, ill-fitting piece from the 80s -- but with a little snip snip here, and a tweak, tweak there, we made a masterpiece :o) You can find this dress for sale in our store

This weekend will be extra sweet - on Saturday we are shooting LPM's Valentine's day lookbook! Stay tuned for behind-the-scene photos :)

Happy Friday!

Trend Alert! Let's Go Fishing

I have been fishing around (if I must say) for an uber cool unconventional hemline lately. We all know floor grazing maxis are a current must, but what about something more unique and dramatic? Fishtails, also called 'high-low hems' are hitting the runways!

I personally have been looking for a fishtail floral maxi that resembles this one:

This dress is a vintage beauty, handcrafted into a fishtail maxi. GirlOnAVine, $169.00
I love the dramatic effect of these dresses. They are so fun!

This version is for sale at Nastygal

The high-low hems are great, you can go as dramatic or subtle as you please. They allow for maxi elegance and girly playfullness! This is one bandwagon worth jumping on, cause this trend is here to stay!

Ohh, the beautiful life!
Love,
