The other day, thanks to Sebastian and Holly, I was featured on Refinery29's main page for their Month of Street Style. This outfit was an easy choice for me. A double collar silk blouse, mint belt and brushstroke blazer...you can't go wrong :) These purple wedges were the best purchase ever - they're so cute and comfy, I can walk for miles and miles in the city (if only I ever actually walked that far)....but still, no pain! Yay for comfy/cute shoes :)

Behind the Scenes: Northern Virginia Magazine Shoot

In late January, Katherine and I participated in a super-cool spring fashion shoot for Northern Virginia Magazine. The shoot was such an amazing experience - we learned a ton, and had so much fun! We worked alongside Spicy Candy DC, The President Wears Prada, DC Alejandra, Sebastian from SMf0t0, and the crew from NOVA mag.

We pulled clothing and accessories from local boutiques, Pretty People Vintage, Periwinkle, Current, La Petite Marmoset and Shoe Hive to style during the shoot.

Considering we were showcasing spring fashions, we planned to shoot outside at this beautiful farm house -- only this is what it looked like outside the day of our shoot:

And this was the only bloom we could find.....it was fake:

so...we had to compromise...

 Marshall from TPWP is a genius photographer and was able to shoot us in different locations inside the beautiful house using only natural lighting

I'm so honored to be a part of such an amazing team, and I cannot thank everyone enough for including me :) It's so cool to be a part of something that recognizes local talent and fashion!!

Elie Tahari Fashion Show + LPM Party

I had the pleasure of walking in the "World of Elie Tahari" Fashion show at Saks this past weekend. I'm a big fan of the rope chokers, classic silhouettes, strappy sandals and bright colors.

We couldn't have asked for a better time. So many wonderful friends and colleagues came out to support our venture. It really meant the world to us, and was so much fun :) You can find a great re-cap from the event, from our dear friends at The President Wears Prada
On top of work, LPM, travel and modeling, Steven and I are also in the process of moving (I despise moving) - but it's for the best, and I can't wait to call a new place home and to have an awesome-possum housewarming party! :)
