I had the pleasure of attending the Capital Area Fashion & Beauty Bloggers anniversary party last night. Thank you SO MUCH to Lacey and Liz for starting CapFabb 1 year ago, and bringing all of us bloggers together :)

On a side note, I must admit...sometimes I can be such a horrible 'blogger.' I get so consumed with chatting and laughing that I sometimes forget to snap the necessary blog photos! I had so much fun on Tuesday night at the CapFabb Meet up at Madewell - I mean, who doesn't love being surrounded by super fashion-forward friends and peers? Throw in some bubbly and cupcakes, and you've got one heck of a great meet-up! Thanks so much to Liz and Lacey for organizing the event :o)

So I got dressed yesterday morning knowing that after work I would be heading over to the CapFabb Meet-Up event at Madewell (Photos coming soon). I guess I was subconsciously channeling Alexa Chung for Madewell because the whole evening everyone kept telling me I looked so "Alexa."

Hey, that's one compliment you can give me any day! I'll take it! :o)
