Dress it up

By no means would I consider myself a dressed up being. I'm a put together person, but never fancy schmancy. Sometimes I want to be...but until now, I hadn't found a way to wear something uber fancy without having to go somewhere equally as fancy. Then I realized, it's all in your accessories and attitude. My new goal: Find fancy schmancy things, and make them everyday wearable! here are my first couple LBVie finds:

Because of that slit, this dress goes from day to VAVOOM pretty quickly. Tone it down by pairing it with jeweled flat sandals, some chunky jewelry and relaxed hair. :o)

This silk top is a Papell Evening blouse that I found while thrifting. It originally sold as a two piece with silk trousers. Separate the items, and you have two fun pieces to play with. This top is so much fun with all of the beads and sequins, but can seem too dressy paired with other dark colors. Play it down with cute denim cut offs and some fun wedges. Add a cute blazer to mute some of the beads and complete the look.

You can find both of these items at LBVie, here

I love finding pieces you can wear shopping during the day, and to the Opera at night! :o)

Ohh the beautiful life...

  1. I am in love with that sequin blouse! I can see myself wearing that to a symphony at night or even pairing it with some jeans and some wedges for going out with friends during the day. :)
